FCSA produce the FDI statistics depending on the balance of payments and international investment position manual (6th edition) published by International Monetary Fund and the Benchmark Definitions of FDI (4th Edition) published by OECD. The data on FDI collected through an annual survey by the official statistic center in each emirate in April and the preliminary results published on September. FCSA Role is to aggregate the data on level of UAE and to make sure that each statistical center following the international standards in this regards.
