These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Bayanat website and its features.

By accessing and using the Bayanat Portal (the "Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Portal.
Unless otherwise stated, all content published on the Bayanat Portal—including text, graphics, interface design, visual elements, code, and logos—is the intellectual property of the relevant UAE government entity and is protected under applicable laws and regulations.
"Portal" refers to the Bayanat website managed by the relevant UAE government entity.
"User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Portal or its content.
"Content" includes datasets, documents, graphics, text, code, or any other material made available on the Portal.
The Portal is available for lawful use only.
Users agree not to misuse the Portal, introduce malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
Submissions or communications made through the Portal must be respectful, legal, and free of harmful content.
Unless stated otherwise, all design elements, interface components, logos, and non-data content on the Portal are the intellectual property of the relevant UAE government entity.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
The Portal may include links to external websites for user convenience.
The Portal is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these external sites.
The data is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
The Portal makes no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or continuous availability of the content.
The Portal is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use or misuse of the Portal or its data.
If the Portal includes features such as "Request a Dataset" or "Propose a Dataset", users must not submit:
Unlawful or defamatory content.
Commercial promotions or spam.
Technically harmful content (e.g., malware).
By submitting content, users grant the Portal the right to use the submission to enhance services without obligation or compensation.
Guideline document is to guide the governmental bodies (ministries, agencies, Councils, etc.) where they are required to adhere to when they follow the Open data policy on their website. The scope of this document is limited to the websites of government agencies in the United Arab Emirates. As the document is open for continuous development, its scope can be expanded as dictated by the public policy of the Government of the United Arab Emirates and related instructions.
