Food Insecurity Scale in the UAE

The food insecurity dataset is defined as the DSG indicator 2.1.2: Prevalence of moderate or severe food insecurity in the population, based on the Food Insecurity Experience Scale which was prepared with the SDG team to find the response of people who feel that they face food insecurity. The data is classified based on Food Insecurity scale and on Gender. The data covers the year 2021. As per the agreement with Food and Agriculture Organization to have 2021 as the base year for food insecurity data in the UAE.
